DESCRIPTION:This one-day workshop provides an overview of EFT with individuals\, couples and families and introduces interested clinicians to the EFT model and the power of EFT to facilitate healing and growth for clients presenting with personal and relationship-related distress. \nAttendance at this workshop is now an ICEEFT requirement for EFT clinicians applying to for Certification as Supervisors in EFT. \nCourse Information \nBy the end of this course\, participants will be able to: \n\nSummarise the EFT perspective – experiential\, growth-oriented\nDescribe the key tenets of attachment theory.\nIdentify the goals and stages of the EFT model across modalities.\nOutline the core EFT interventions as they apply and differ in three modalities: individuals suffering from depression\, anxiety and PTSD\, distressed couples and distressed families.\nSpecify the strengths of attachment theory and science as a map to understanding client problems and strengths and how attachment guides every session.\nUtilise attachment science as a moment-to-moment guide to the shaping of potent systematic change in psychotherapy sessions.\nDefine the moves of the EFT Tango and how they differ across modalities.\n\nThis training is ideally for: \n\nSocial Workers\, Counsellors and Psychologists working in government organisations or NGOs\nMedical Social Workers working in hospitals and medical institutions\nPsychologists and Counsellors in private practice\n\nPresenters \n\nDr Jenny Fitzgerald – Clinical Psychologist\, Honorary Assoc Prof (UQ)\, ICEEFT Certified EFT Trainer\nDr Katie Kjelsaas – Clinical Psychologist\, ICEEFT Certified EFT Supervisor\n\nRegistration Fees (Prices are per person\, include GST and are in AUD unless stated otherwise) \n\nFull fee $297 incl GST\nStudents $197 incl GST with use of discount code STUDENT100 (Note: proof of full-time enrolment is required)\n\nBookings and Registration \n\nFollow this link to secure your booking: https://bit.ly/Fundamentals-of-EFT_August2025
