Cynthia Gray is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency of Australia (APHRA) and holds a practice endorsement in clinical psychology.

Cynthia has over 20 years’ experience assisting adults with psychological concerns ranging from relatively minor everyday issues through to more complex mental health conditions. Her area of proficiency includes the treatment of; adjustment disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, adverse life events, perinatal distress, stress, phobias, OCD, insomnia, grief and loss, and adjustment to physical illness – with a special interest in assisting those with cancer.

Before becoming a psychologist, Cynthia worked for many years as both a registered nurse and midwife which has enabled her to have a breadth of knowledge regarding both physical and mental health. Cynthia’s approach to treatment is warm, client-centred, respectful, and tailored to the individual needs of her clients. She works collaboratively with her clients to help them reach their treatment goals. Cynthia is available for face-to-face sessions and Telehealth.

Cynthia has extensive training in several evidence-based approaches, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
